ADA Information

LockersMFG lockers for usage in ADA or barrier-free requirements are a single tier or the lower opening of a double tier locker with recessed handles.

First, the locker bottom should be a minimum of 15” off the floor or have an extra shelf placed 15” off the floor. Second, a single tier locker should have a shelf 48” off the floor. Finally, all doors assigned for ADA assignment will have an appropriate symbol displayed.

LockersMFG will customize any assignment to meet the unique needs of each layout.

Attention should be paid to the clear area in front of the lockers to meet other space-related guidelines.
